We had already recorded most of what would become the new album when I wrote "Traveling Kind." I thought the record needed a tune with a JJ Cale type feel. To me JJ Cale is perfect for a road trip; it feels like traveling music. So what else should I write about than what I know best? Traveling. And what else should the video be other than me traveling? And there ya have it. The footage and pictures in this video were all taken while my wife, Mandy, and I were traveling the country. She shot all the video of me driving and singing. Some of the other footage was from our trip out west during COVID playing house concerts, backyard parties, and small venues. The road is a drug, and we are hooked. — Blake Christiana, YarnYarn's new album, Born, Blessed, Grateful & Alive, is out July 26.
