The Watson Twins are back with a live album recorded in Nashville at one of the city’s most beloved venues, The Basement East. The twins' incredible band brings their energy and talent to this group of songs that span all Watson Twins releases — Southern Manners EP (2006), Fire Songs (2008), Talking to You, Talking to Me (2010), Duo (2018), and Holler (2023).
Stand-outs from the record include The Cure cover “Just Like Heaven,” which American Songwriter touted their studio version on Fire Songs as one of “The Best Covers” of the song. The live band includes Russ Pollard (Everest, Sebadoh), Steven Cooper (Nicole Atkins, Patrick Sweeney), Thayer Sarrano (of Montreal, Cracker), and Ryan Williams (The Native Sibling, Grizfolk). Special guest appearances include Butch Walker on“Never Be Another You”and the foot tapping “Sissy Said.”
