A Postcard from Vandoliers

Right now, I’m in my living room, folding every piece of clothing I own into a suitcase. Lindsey and Ruby are on the couch watching a movie. And tomorrow morning, everyone will meet at my house. I’ll kiss my family goodbye and leave for the first tour of 2025.

I’m heading out to play clubs, theaters, and festivals across America and Europe with my band, Vandoliers, promoting our fifth album Life Behind Bars, which was produced by the legendary Ted Hutt in the Texas desert at Sonic Ranch Studios. It took three years to bring to life — two years to write, two weeks to record, and a full year of waiting to release it.

And in all that time, I changed.
