Country singer Buck Jones was killed by a drunk driver March 17 while trying to get a flat tire repaired near Royce City, Texas. He released an album called Lucky Star on Western Beat/New Light, and had worked with Jim Lauderdale, Allison Moorer, and Jon Byrd. He was 33.
